Christian Charles Philip Bale (born January 30, 1974) is a Welsh actor who is best known for his role as Patrick Bateman in American Psycho and Bruce Wayne/Batman in Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight trilogy which earned him the [2006 MTV Movie Award for Best Hero.
