Ishitsukuri is a prince in the film The Tale of the Princess Kaguya directed by Isao Takahata of Studio Ghibli.

He is portrayed as a glamor boy. He is first seen on a royal ceremony in Heian-kyō. On the ceremony Inbe no Akita describe Kaguya's beauty. Immediately he ride to Miyatsuko's Castle with other noblemen. At the castle in front of Kaguya, who sits behind curtains, he do poetry: He describes her beauty as Buddha's unique shell. Kaguya ask him to bring her that shell and she promise to marry him.

Three years later he returns to the castle without the promised shell. He tell to Kaguya and her father Sanuki no Miyatsuko his journey (which he never did). He become inpatient and rudely snatch the curtains off. His first wife Kita changes place with Kaguya. Instantly he apologize for his rudeness and leave the castle.
